The Author
Dionysius Siringoringo, holds master (2002) and PhD degree (2005) in civil engineering from University of Tokyo in the area of structural vibration and health monitoring. Prior to that he completed his undergraduate study on civil engineering at the Bandung Institute of Technology. He is currently a research assistant professor at the University of Tokyo with the area of research spans from bridge engineering, mechanical vibration, structural health monitoring and control, seismic design and analysis, system identification, time series analysis, to disaster mitigation and prevention.
He is an Indonesian, born in 1976 and currently lives with his family in Tokyo. This page is devoted as his personal view on the matters above and also compilation of his works and other’s works of his interest.

Hi my name is Lin Che Wei. Currently I am CEO of Sampoerna Foundation and former CEO of Danareksa (State Investment Bank). My background is finance and I am the guy who are appointed by the consortium of Sunda Straits Bridge (which consisted of local govt (banten and Lampung), Artha Graha, Media Group and Prof Wiratman to conduct Pre-feasibility study on Sunda Straits Bridge. Salam kenal Pak Dion, jauh2 berkelana ke negeri China dan Denmark untuk mencari ahli SHMS, ternyata bangsa Indonesia sudah memiliki seorang putera terbaiknya di bidang itu. Kebetulan SHMS Suramadu sebentar lagi ditenderkan.
Tentunya kita masih butuh masukan-masukan yang membangun, mengingat langkanya tenaga ahli di bidang ini di Indonesia.
